Cheryl Cole failed to attend her brother-in-law's wedding this weekend , fuelling rumours her marriage is in trouble. Although her soccer star husband Ashley Cole was best man at his brother Matthew's Essex ceremony, the Girls Aloud star was nowhere to be seen. Her name was on the seating plan at the wedding, held at a 16th century hotel near Hatfield Heath, suggesting she was due to be one of the 100 guests witnessing Matthew tie the knot with bride Lisa. Matthew was best man at Ashley and Cheryl's 2006 ceremony. Ashley and Cheryl's marriage has reportedly been on the rocks since allegations he had cheated on her emerged in January. Despite the singer vowing to stick by the Chelsea player, they have rarely been seen in public together since the claims surfaced and she has reportedly stopped wearing her wedding ring. Ashley has been desperate to win back his wife's trust, showering her with gifts and treating her to a romantic break in Spain
